Language is at the heart of everything I do: it's essential for communicating with the world and vital for the inner dialogue that is fundamental to all academic study. Fluency in a number of tongues will improve my knowledge and understanding of them and enable me to fulfil my ambition to work nationally and internationally.

I have a strong passion for modern languages. Having grown up bilingual, they have always been the focus of my intellectual efforts and interests; I gain great satisfaction looking back at the progress I have made and the new cultures I have experienced, becoming a more rounded individual.

Since I first started studying Modern Languages with a Mayor on Business, I have been interested by how businesses operate and function, considering how they are able to become successful not only on a local scale, but how they are able to expand and grow to eventually operate on a global scale. It has also given me an understanding of the different forms of modern day communication and technologies that are commonly used and are necessary for business.
