Camila Godoy

I am a psychology student in my last semester, with a pre-specialization in clinical psychology. I also have experience in team management, giving classes to people from 4 to 20 years old and conducting studies that require the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data in the area of psychology.

• Private teacher of English and Spanish (2019 - present)

Work with children from 3 to 13 years old, making use of didactic tools based on the needs and tastes of each student, achieving and exceeding the academic requirements and increasing their interest in school.

• Intern at the Hospital Universitario de Caracas (October 2022 - February 2023)

Worked at the Mental Health Unit of the outpatient facility with +10 patients from 7 to 61 years old in psychotherapy and emotional and cognitive evaluation, improving their interpersonal relationships, self-esteem and self-observation skills.

• Intern at the psychiatry unit of Domingo Luciani Hospital (April - July, 2022)

Provided psychological care to +15 patients through neurocognitive and emotional evaluations, psychoeducation, psychotherapy and clinical interviews to understand the needs and plan the best intervention in each case.

• Substitute teacher at Colegio Jefferson (September - November, 2015)

Taught all grades from nursery to 7th grade of elementary, teaching different subjects in both English and Spanish to +30 children per classroom.

• Statistics and neurophysiology tutor (2017 - 2018)

Taught at the Faculty of Psychology at the Central University of Venezuela, working alongside industrial psychologists and medical professionals while mentoring +20 students.

• Summer Camp Coordinator (2012 - 2018)

Worked as a counselor, head counselor, and summer camp coordinator. Planned the activities and logistics of the summer camp for +25 staff members and +200 children between 3 and 14 years old.

• Psychology - Universidad Central de Venezuela (2016 - present)

Degree in Psychology with a pre-specialization in clinical psychology, with all the academic credits approved, awaiting the presentation of my thesis.

Desing of a psychometric inventory to measure the levels of authoritarianism traits in Caracas adults through quantitative and qualitative data. INAU-AE, Emerging Adult Authoritarianism Inventory.

• Student Merit Award for innovative research in psychometry (November 2019)

Carried out a statistical study with +160 participants in the metropolitan area of Caracas, analyzing data to finding a patter in the autoritarian traits of the population to create the Emerging Adult Authoritarianism Inventory which has a high psychometric accouracy.
